I had the opportunity to collaborate on the Ray of Hope project alongside students from SJI and other creatives, where we hosted migrant workers for a meaningful shared experience. As a filmmaker, I contributed by using my skills in visual storytelling—capturing the day through montages that reflected the warmth, connection, and humanity present in every interaction.

Throughout the event, students from SJI engaged in a range of activities with the migrant workers on their day off. It was truly memorable. It was meaningful to see these moments unfold, especially as part of the Building Community Champions initiative, where we welcomed and connected with our migrant brothers.

I’m grateful to be able to preserve these authentic moments and shine a light on stories that often go unnoticed.
Through this project, I believe I was able to make a small but meaningful impact—by documenting these experiences and sharing them with a wider audience, helping to foster greater awareness and appreciation for the migrant worker community.
