SJl is proud to present the Lasallian Distinguished Service Award to Aaron Tan Yi Peng for his exemplary service and unwavering commitment to Lasallian values during his years at SJI (2022-2025). Known for his integrity, responsibility and self-discipline, Aaron consistently made principled choices and earned the respect of peers and teachers alike. His humility, warmth and sincerity strengthened relationships across the school community.
Aaron’s artistic talent and passion for photography greatly enriched school life. He represented SJl in national and international art competitions and was awarded the prestigious Brother Joseph McNally Design, Innovation and Arts Scholarship. His photography captured key school moments, helping preserve SJI’s shared memories and spirit.
In sports, Aaron served as Vice-Captain of the Badminton CCA, leading his team to a historic third-place finish in the 2025 Zonal Round. His leadership, perseverance and selfless attitude were evident on and off the court.
Resilient and service minded, Aaron turned challenges into growth and lived out the Lasallian call to be “a person for others” SJl proudly honours him for his integrity, humility and lasting impact on the community.
