Project Phoenix is a community-driven initiative that brings the wonder of magic to latchkey children in primary schools. Recognising the emotional and social challenges faced by children unsupervised after school, Project Phoenix provides structured workshops, designed to turn these vulnerable hours into opportunities for learning, connection and personal development.

MISSION
Project Phoenix empowers youths to use the art of magic and performance as a tool for service and transformation. By training and inspiring volunteers to engage the vulnerable children in society, we nurture confidence, creativity, and resilience—helping them find joy in learning, build meaningful connections, and discover a reason to thrive in school and beyond.

VISION
To ignite hope and purpose in every child, transforming lives through the wonder of magic, performance, and community service.
Out of school, I joined Project Phoenix, an external community programme that uses Magic to encourage and uplift the vulnerable children in our community. The project was recommended and referred to me by an ex-teacher in SJI, Ms Sundari, and I felt that it is a good way to reach out and inspire other people through the performance art of Magic. This gave me opportunities to perform to the public, and also a chance to give back to the community in a different way. I hope to spread a little of my own magic, and make a small difference that plays big in the hearts of these children who deserve much more.
